i’m 30 and people call me an old man for doing this. i take it as a compliment bc the habits i’m building are to prepare me for when i actually become an old man (godwilling)!
also, as a former athlete, this discipline transfers to all aspects of your life and has INCREDIBLE benefits. you’ll notice the differences pretty quickly, especially if you’re “not a morning person”. the “not a morning person” thing simply has to do with life choices (provided you’re not a night shift worker).
PRIORITIES!!!!!

I've been waking up at 4am for almost 5yrs now because of my early working hours. 😂 My life is never the same in a good way. I get lots of things done and I'm happy to go home before everyone else. 😅 A lot of them are jealous cuz I'm already on the way home by 12pm and they're only half of their working day. I love being a morning person. ❤

I am also a member of the 5AM club. My morning routine starts with writing Morning Pages and other journaling. Then I do an hour sitting meditation before I take my weight, fat/muscle% and bloodpressure, Then I start my calisthenics. All when it it still very quiet in the house. I am a 65M recovering from severe illness and being overweight, high blood pressure and other lifestyle related issues. Now a month in my new program with a 14:10 fasting routine thrown in and I am definitely seeing positive results.

Uh, I've been getting up early for work for years now and all I ever want is to sleep in.
