personally... I know that I am one to not express my feelings of a situation off rip for numerous reasons. I do know though that even if one of my reasons is because I don't want to hurt the persons feelings....I'm quite positive I hurt them differently when I can't let go of my hurt and get passive aggressive.
I think a lot of the reason passive aggressiveness happens is because of what we are taught... not in all cases, but many passive aggressive people have negative experiences associated with the times they tried to express their actual feelings...be it yelling, fighting, judgment ect.
but I like these kinds of posts because regardless of what we do what we do, emotional growth happens when we set this kinda stuff as a standard. like..yes my trauma causes me to react like this..but also ... this person has feelings and a thought process too and I need to respect that. ..idk..
