It was actually my newly licensed doctor fresh out of med school that had read up on trials eliminating milk products and suggested I tried it - cured my acne after numerous rounds of antibiotics and acutane.
Nutrition is the answer for some. And well read doctors use it as a part of treatment all the time.

But also let’s just acknowledge that doctors aren’t supposed to be intensely knowledgeable about nutrition, just like they aren’t supposed to be experts in injury exercises. That’s why there are dietitians and physiotherapists. I think it’s wild that society always wants to make doctors the ONE AND ONLY to treat everything, when we have tons of people spending 3-5 years on bachelors and masters degrees in science on these specific things.

FYI- this is the founder of ClearStem skincare. I would stray away from supporting them. She could have promoted her products a lot better than tearing down actual skin doctors.
