I'm from Belize. They say its haunted and located in the Maya mountain range. It's supposed to be very hard to get into and requires entry from underwater.
Its said to be closest to Shibala and that is why it was considered a place of sacrifice during very hard times when they feel the Gods have abandoned them. They made more intense amounts of sacrifice.

Ever thought that when there is a shitload of children remains it's not that they where sacrificed but rather killed to save everyone else in the sence that maybe they where possesed or where Black Eyed Kids?
Remember as we have better ways of studying things or find scriptures of sorts we have found out that not all previously thought victims where victims.
Maybe them kids had a cult and whent on a murderous rampage? Idk but it is something to consider.
