That totally makes sense! I have atherosclerosis of the ascending aorta. I have had some serious heart/ chest pain my last one ended up in the hospital for evaluation. The crazy part is I am 64, have been an athlete my entire life and my weight is 105-110 and instead of getting shorter I am still 5’2” because I practice yoga which focuses on stretching the body in all different direction as well as building muscles. People are shocked when I tell them I am 64 And when I see a new doctor in my medical group they are shocked when they see me versus what my medical chart history looks like. I’ve been on high dose statin for 10 years. I hate what it does to me and I had a difficult time getting use to the medication but when I took myself off of statin my cholesterol sky rocketed so I have to be on it despite how it affects my brain 😢 So I do what I can which is to workout for 2 hours a day to keep my heart strong and my body fit. I eat a balanced diet on a low sugar high fiber diet. My memory is getting better and I praise myself every time I remember something! I use my phone alarm to remind myself what to do when. And I take pictures of where I parked so I can easily remember where it is if I am in a big parking lot and I take different ways to get to my destination so my brain is stimulated as to what the next turn or on-ramp is. I just keep my brain stimulated as much as I can kinda like a toddler always teaching it something new and exciting 😂 🤪

We know that there are foods that constrict blood vessels. Then there are other foods and herbs that dilate blood vessels. Worth googling.
