Ketamine is a dissociative drug- itās animal anesthetic that dissociates body from mind. And that means mind from old mind- or, brain activity from old(er) brain activity. In a way, ketamine induces āquick little deathā. This may be therapeutic for some- or traumatic for others- depending on where are they in their life, thinking, spiritual development, depending on what they need and what they think that need. It is a very complex effect- not possible to qualify in clear terms. For me, Ketamine was like a blue cold presence of Death, in the room. I also felt āgates openingā and presence of āothersā, whatever that was. Of course, itās dose-dependent āhallucinogenicā- but the visions depend not just on your subconscious but also on where are you, with whom, etc. There is objectivity to the internal state induced by it. I consider K as a last resort drug for help in certain situations, only. Like, when lots of harm can come from being stuck in formalism of the worst kind. But such people, though they need it most, would never try K.
