Soul bonds can be formed rather quickly, but take more time to disconnect. Unhooking your soul from a soul that it is hooked to takes time. That's what causes the pain from a breakup, divorce, or death. The more our soul is unhooked from their soul, the less pain we feel. Think of a perfect stranger...if they pass away and you never knew them or formed a soul bond with them, then we don't tend to feel pain over their loss.

pain means ur missing ur friend. it means ur attachment to the life u envisioned together is DEAD. well, the vision that it is with them is dead, not necessarily the attachment to it, that's why it hurts. it's grief.
this is why it is also important to have other things you care about in your life than just ur relationship.
