This reminds me of when we had that tornado in Iowa in 2006, my neighborhood was relatively unaffected but our street sign blew over. My parents stole it and they were SO proud of themselves 😂 they ended up hanging it in the laundry room

I pick at my lips under stress but also just a mindless habit I’ve had since I was 5 years old so they look chapped all the time even though I’m using my Chapstick, I layer it on. Elyse, there are so many days that you are my reason. I'm glad you are okay Mrs. Relatable. The Midwest's weather is wild. I live in KC and I know the stress of weather alerts and always practicing emergency drills. I've learned the amount of structures (like buildings and trees) makes conditions for a tornado less likely, so I am thankful that I can practice weather safety procedures with low enough anxiety that I understand that the worst probably won't happen.

I cannot focus when someone’s lips are that dry I say this with nothing but love but dear god Drink some water, scrub those lips and slap on some Vaseline so I can be well again
