Motorola has the auto calculation thing since long.
But they didn’t advertise it like Apple did.

It'll be a neat tool for teaching in an interactive manner with that graphing feature. Heck I could see myself using it to make my life a lot easier. Too bad, I don't have an ipad as of now. Would be nice if they made it available for mac too. That way, I could use it with my graphics tablet.

Math notes does look pretty cool, but I don’t think they would have received much criticism if they’d released a basic calculator on iPad from day 1. I don’t really buy the “we didn’t want to do it until we could amaze people” argument. Makes no sense to me

What I like about Apple is just stubbornness in doing the absolute perfect thing.
What I hate about them is the stubbornness to not let anyone else do the thing until they do .
I mean, they can wait 15 years or 150 years to launch the best calculator in the world. I don’t care but they should not stop any other developers from providing a basic app to the consumers. It is so unfair.

When i saw that apple interview answer about the calculator i kind of scoffed at his answer but the calculator really is sick. I hope samsung incorporates it into samsung notes
