Yesterday at Walmart a man who had a blue lanyard around his neck was on a few different aisles while I couldnβt find something, so I started to ask him about the item. He said l donβt work here ! WHOOPS ! Moral of the story, donβt wear a blue lanyard when youβre at Walmart !! π

I've been at a few Vietnamese restaurants in suburban Australia, where at least one person who may have travelled through Vietnam once or twice, tried to order the dish using (what they thought was) Vietnamese language.
It became rather awkward when,
A. The restaurant owner or waiter cheerfully asked,
"Oh. You speak Vietnamese?"
Or
B. Politely, "Sorry. Which one?"
One night, with this in mind, I pointed to a photo on the wall of the restaurant, carefully mumbling,
"Umm.. this steamed chicken, please."
