> How do deersonas put on t-shirts?
> How do tailed sonas wear pants?
Furgononics, mostly. Assuming a world of furrys or a world where procedures can be done to become your fursona, there'd probably be mass-producable equivilants to our own t-shirts and jeans.
For example, antlered and horned sonas wouldn't be able to pull a t-shirt over their heads without destroying the neck, so they might prefer shirts with particularly wide/deep necks or shirts that button/zip up the front.
An idea that I personally like is that they might prefer something like a Ruana style cloak, which is literally just a rectangle of fabric with a line cut into it from one side to the middle. You couldn't get something more uni-species and easy to produce than that.
For pants, jeans could have a reinforced 'U' with a thin strap over the top of the opening. They'd pull on the pants, slot their tail in, and button the strap over it. Depending on the tail, fit, and weight of the pants, this could probably keep the pants up without need of a belt.
> If you were your sona, would you go to a doctor or veterinarian? What about protogens?
Assuming normal animals are a thing, you'd be going to a doctor, be it equivilant to our human doctors or a specialized doctor for furrys. Human doctor, furry doctor, beast doctor.
On that line of thought, Protogens and other cybernetic organisms would have doctors specifically for their anatomy. They'd be called "Medical Technicians who are specialized in cybernetics", "Medtechs", "Wetware Technicians/Doctors", "Ripperdocs", etc.

half of these I've already pondered on. especially the shave one
like, where do you go? do you have to shave yourself, or go to the barbers? or maybe there is some place that does full body shaving? do you shed fur naturally?
WHAT ABOUT FLEAS?! I'd assume picking a glaceon would be safe because ice kill the bug. but if it doesn't? how much bug killer would I need before it's dangerous for myself? can I just have normal shower or not enough?
what about scales? you'd shed skin, but how would you go about? would it be like a cartoonish "so scared, the skeleton jumped out of their skin"?
edit: oh my god. what about summer time? like say you are a fluffy cat. would you just move to some place cold? max out the AC?
also the chocolate one. I couldn't have my fav chocy milk if that were true

The whole vet or doctor question came up in the movie Wolf Children 2012
Essentially the woman's werefolf husband dies so she needs to take care of her werewolf children alone. One of the babies ends up eating something shouldn't turning the panic she runs down the street and there's a vet on the one side and a doctor's clinic on the other side and she's stuck in the middle. She ends up getting doctor's advice over the phone instead

Answering questions the best I know: Dog or canine furries won't die from chocolate unless there's an excessive amount of it. If someone becomes the animal they're allergic too, they may have constant sick feelings. Though I'm not a dear furry, the t-shirts will either rip or be put on carefully around each antler. A regular shaver or pair of hair trimmers could work but shaving off too much may need some sort of covering like clothing. There are multiple ways to position the tail with the clothing, mainly being under or over the belt. Seeing as there are many types of doctors, and vets are technically doctors, you'd go to a doctor regardless. Protogens or other furry-gen fursonas would require both a doctor and a mechanical or electric engineer for maintenance. If furries have fursonas, do alternate versions of us have flesh-sonas? I think it's likely. I could be wrong. As humans or homo sapiens are part of the Primate family, and part of having a fursona is having an identifiable animal or fantasy creature, most people could be furries but not everyone labels themselves nor sticks to a single character.

the pants with tails is simple, just pants with a cutout in the back so the tail can slide down, then a durable button or velcro strap thats about 1-1/2 to 3 inches from the top of the pants to near the tail that goes over the gap and secures it in place, and then the strap would have a loop so any belts could slide in and tighten everything, the size of the gap could be chosen for different species and tail sizes so that it fits a little bit loosely around the tail and isnt uncomfortable.
thanks for coming to my shower thought :3

I actually do have the answer to the chocolate one.
Basically the two main things in chocolate that are harmful to animals are caffeine and theobromine, both of which are kinds of methylxanthines. Most animals can't metabolize methylxanthine so it stays in their system for longer and causes more damage. Caffeine especially is also harmful to humans in the sense that it increases their heart rate, but it is much more manageable since we are bigger and we can metabolize it better. The weight of the dog also plays a factor. If you give a weiner dog, let's say, 15 grams of Hersey's milk chocolate, it would be much more detrimental than if you were to give 15 grams to a great pyrenees.
If a dog fursona had sized-up dog internal organs then because of the human hight and weight, they would have to eat a lot of full size chocolate bars before it becomes a problem. If they had human internal organs then they'd be fine and just have normal, human chocolate problems.
TD;DR : If its litteraly a just a sized up dog tmnt style, then yes but only in small amounts. If it has a human or human-esque digestive system then go crazy (but not too much bc then they'd get human sick)
