From a woman point of view.. I agree with the 1st part, however, the 2nd part I disagree with.. it's because the man lost his independence and usually end up..in anger mode, plus resentment. especially if the woman still is working at the time...

Thatâs data. Data has context. How LONG did the man fail to provide? What was his ATTITUDE about it? Did he lack AMBITION and determination to start over and *lead forward in hardship*? Was he FAITHFUL while his ego was bruised. Did he PARENT his children through bad times, not just good. And on and on. Itâs unwise to make up a story from data when itâs not the story. Narrative vs truth is always squishy business. Narrative is about Make Believe. Donât be sold on stories. Find out.
