And you wonder why people are alarmed at the thought of mass immigration from Muslim-majority nations...

I will never understand how someone can claim to be "for women" and "for Islam". Does not compute...

This is exactly what I got from a conversation with a Muslim man. He explained to me that women have to cover up because even a strand of hair can arouse sexual feelings. He said there was a woman he was working with that covered up completely, showing only her eyes and he respected that because thats exactly what he expects from his future wife. One day he saw her drinking water and saw her chin as she drank the water and he said it upset him because it was too revealing and she should respect herself. Shocking. He further told me that the outfit has to be all black because colour can attract attention as well. I left that conversation just so speechless.

My late Mom's endocrinologist was a Pakistani Muslim. I drove my parents to one of her appointments, went in for the meeting. Muslim MD would only discuss my Mom's medical situation with my FATHER (who frankly, wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer)! Finally Mom said- "I AM HUMAN AND CAN SPEAK FOR MYSELF. I AM NOT THE FAMILY PET, AND YOU ARE NOT A VETERINARIAN! PREPARE MY RECORDS TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DOCTOR!!"

Many years ago I agreed to privately tutor a muslim man in his own home, here in south-east England. Nothing wrong in that. He wanted to learn spoken English. He seemed very nice, learning quickly. His wife and children were very sweet and obviously interested in the lessons but he would not allow them in the room. I told him that for no extra charge I would happily tutor the whole family whilst there, I might as well! But no. He refused. I assume it gave him power over them by keeping them ignorant.

What bothers me in general with Islam is that you can criticise every other religion and it will be called criticism but when its Islam its Islamophobia. A lot of the comments here demonstrate that

I dated a guy who was Muslim and this was maybe 20 year's ago, and I voiced my opinion about college and working outside of the home, we were in a nice restaurant and he spank my hand and told me that I needed to read the Bible more because he felt that if I married him I would not be able too work outside of the house because he would give me the money I need, and my responsibilities would be to take care of the house and laundry and his meal, plus my children by him! I couldn't go out of the house unaccompanied without him, he told me all these rules I must follow😢😮! So I never married him

I'm originally Turkish, was born in Switzerland and I've seen lots of cruel things happening to my religion from Islam. See, us "Alevi" are a minority in Turkey and the Muslims use every opportunity to oppress us or even kill us. Some of the things they don't like about us (and sharing the same country) is e.g. our women don't cover themselves and they REALLY have the same rights as our men, or that we eat pork or drink alcohol and we don't believe in a god/allah. So as pacifists, we like democracy and are western oriented and they hate or even kill us for that. Let that sink in. Protect your country and your culture people.

This is true. I work for a hospital and do intake. So a Muslim man and woman came in together. She was the patient and it was a female problem so I have to ask very personal questions … for example , how old were you when you started your 1st period and things like that, so I directed my questions to her. She was completely covered except her eyes. And I’ll be honest her eyes looked defeated… like there was sadness and no hope or joy in them. But anyways, he answered all the questions for her. It wasn’t until after that I looked into the religion and was shocked. It’s not at all God. It’s brutal and vile. I’m sorry if this offends anyone but fortunately I’m American and can say exactly what I think .

I was married to a muslim man for 18 years. In that time he beat me into hospital. Kidnapped my son of 7 and took him to Egypt for 6 years. Came back with him demanding if i want to be with my son i had to move in with them. Another 3 years of very bad abuse to the point of nearly killing me a view times. I got away with my life. My son and i are now free and living our life as human beings that deserve love and compassion.

A family of Muslims, husband wife and baby, moved onto my street. The husband beat the wife daily, their next door neighbours had to go to the house to ask the husband to stop beating his wife, as it was upsetting their children hearing her screams!

i used to deliver building supplies. One morning I knocked at the door of a house, a woman answered and did a small scream and ran away. Totally puzzled I checked myself over and found nothing amiss. moments later a guy came to the door and gave instructions about delivery. I stood on the doorstep for a few moments after he shut the door and could hear a female pleading then an eruption of violence. She got beaten for answering the door without checking and not covering up to make contact with a infidel.

Nearly had a full-scale argument with my neighbour who happens to be Muslim. Last year he started telling me that young girls deserve to be looked at etc because of the clothes they wear. He was actually on about my grandaughter who wore a skirt on her knees and a pair of tights as part of her school uniform. It also included the fact that she wore shorts in the summer. These are normal length, not daisy dukes, and an ordinary t-shirt. We had a pool in the garden we no longer have because my grandaughter felt uncomfortable knowing he would be watching her using it. So there is one rule that Muslim women have to be covered so no other man can see his wife, but a young girl is going about her normal life, in normal everyday clothes can be oggled by that same man.😡. The rest of the family are lovely ( the women

A Muslim couple came to my office because the wife needed help in finding a job. When I proceeded to ask her questions, her husband did all the answering. He hardly let her speak. From then on, if a Muslim couple comes to my office I insist on receiving only the wife in my office while the husband stays in the waiting room.

I watched a man drag his woman out of a gas station by the back of her head because a soldier looked at her and she looked back at him during the Gulf war. I was a soldier I am female with the rest of my squad. The man dragged her out of the store and threw her into the car and sped off. It was horrible to see a woman treated like that

I remember seeing "Not without My Daughter" with Sally Field when it came out, I was 6 at the time. Always remembered it as "scary". I watched it again a couple weeks ago, and at 39 having two daughters now, it was terrifying. So incredibly thankful for my husband.
