Getting better sleep really is massively linked to our mood. Sleep is incredibly productive. It's helping you to lay down memories. It's helping you to restore and heal your body, and it's going to help you with your mood. ⁠

So if you're struggling to actually switch off and go to sleep, a really simple thing to do, which you may or may not be doing already, is to read a book before bed. Apparently 20 minutes is the magic amount of time that we need to read a book, or maybe that's listening to an audio book. It just helps you to quiet your mind and distract you. ⁠
