Katadyn be free no backflush just rinse in the water. It also filters to 0.1 microns

My tried and true is to just drink the water. 😅 sure, it's survivor's bias, but I've also never gotten sick.

What's the easiest way to backflush the Sawyer Squeeze Mini? The provided syringe doesn't fit very well.

I have a question as I just bought the CNOC bag, bottle, and Sawyer connector:
I’ve heard CNOC pronounced 3 different ways. Knock, Ka-knock, and C-nick (as in Scenic). Does anyone know? It’s driving me crazy. 😂

I switched to the Katadyn hiker pro. The sawyer, no matter how many times I back flushed it, and it’s never froze, it just doesn’t filter very well. After the first couple trips, it just seized up. I just can’t deal with the irritation anymore.

Question, how do you know if the filter fails? Does it visibly look as though it failed or do you have to get "the runs" to know? Asking for a friend :)
