Passed Step 3! - Exam day[s] experience
I’d to travel to New Jersey for the test cuz New York didn’t have any centres for my desired dates.
I went to NJ like a day earlier just to settle in. I went over the explanations for the free sample test in the USMLE-website, ate way too much food and bought a bunch of snacks and was just relaxing. Felt like a lil vacay, haha. Slept around 11 and woke up by 5:30AM.
Triple checked alllll my documents, had breakf and left to the Center.
Day 1 4/10/2023: 7 hours. I honestly felt pretty fine after completing day 1.
Came home and was just unwindin w greys. Did a few CCS cases but I was too tired to concentrate. Ended up sleeping pretty early.
Day 2 4/11/2023: 9 hours. LOVED CCS but I kinda felt the MCQs were v confusing
[this is contrary to how most people feel, lol]
I honestly think it may have been due to fatigue cuz I literally took it the very next day.
Not sure if I chose to take it back to back cuz I love torturing myself or was just broke to be able to afford no more than 2 nights at a hotel, lol
You know what was more torturous than these 2 days? The next 2 fkn weeks. I’d been super anxious.
But anyway, we are finally done.
A little did I know I’d get this far when I bought First Aid for the first time in 2017. What a longgg and crazy journey this has been. Super grateful to every one who has been there ❤️
Good bye forever, USMLE.
What questions do you guys have about step 3?
