This literally describes me to a T. I’m a model extravert and I conceal my anger very well most of the time but occasionally I will have a wicked reactive anger response if I let my control slip. Wild, I’ve never felt so understood lol

I have this issue, being an extravert with emotional instability, I act on every comment I perceive to be negative. I have to tell myself "choose your battles".

It sounds "adaptive" to me.
I'll be kind and respectful all day long, IF you are; however IF I observe aggressive/ antisocial behavior I'll call it out/ and shut it down immediately.
I'll bet the pre- historic people with these two skills lived longer. No getting hit over the head, from behind.
These behaviors influence/ create not only affection, but respect.

Its a coincidence definitely, but the past few months you've been speaking on topics very relevant to my life. Mostly Borderline and Narcissism, both of which I've experienced. Its like you've been unlocking something in my brain and it makes everything click. Very helpful in my recovery with BPD. Thank you for spreading awareness ❤

That makes sense to me. I have been reactively aggressive at times. I'm autistic, have a trauma background, and am introverted. However, this rarely gets me into trouble as my feelings and sense of self are very stable, rules orientated and kind.

I get this. I’ve described my anger and instability to my best friend he was like “what are you talking about?” My wife, on the other hand, has seen me at my very worst so she understands very well from first hand experience. I hadn’t realized how well I can keep that part of me hidden.
