This song was the biggest shock to the music world in 2002. I was in absolute shock when I heard it. They became my favorite band all over again. You did it again, Kurt.

Who is here listening to this 30 years after Kurt died, today? 😢 (4/5/2024) The impact he has had on millions upon millions of people will never ever be forgotten. Rest in peace, Kurt. 1967 - 1994

27 years he lived. And 27 years we lived without him. Damn, how the time flies.

Oh my god, that second “I have never failed to fail” . . . I think that’s the most powerful, emotional vocal I have ever heard. 1:56

Two of my favorite Nirvana lyrics: “I’m worst at what I do best.” “I have never failed to fail.”

3:10 the end of the song almost mirrors what happened after Kurt's death, Dave still plays confidently providing the backbone for the song, reminiscent of the way he stuck around after Kurt's death. Kurt's vocals stay around for a little bit only to completely cut out at 3:18 and while all of this is going on Krist's bassline can be heard very quietly almost mirroring his sorrow after the death of his friend.

cobain died. everyone mourned. years after, i was born. i grew up, became a fan, and still shed tears when i come to the conclusion that a bright, pure, and loving soul like this was lost so fast. my throat hurts whenever i reminisce this thought. my tears flow whenever i reminisce this thought. im happy cobain found his peace, and final rest. From all the people who listen to you, We Love you, Mr. Cobain.

The fact that kids still blast Nirvana is A sign the band has become timeless

The shot of Kurt hitting the distortion pedal at 0:37 right as the distortion kicks in is perfection

Hard to believe that this year marks 27 years anniversary since we lost Kurt, the exact same amount of time he lived.

21 years ago today, this song finally got a proper release to the public. A sweet and painful goodbye from nirvana, intentional or not.

I don't care what anyone says this is the saddest Nirvana song ever in my opinion. Years after Kurt died and this song came out on radios people burst into tears and vibed while doing so. It felt like the band was back after his death, it felt like Kurts soul came back to make one last song. all the memories fans had with him just sinked into them just like what's happening in this video, all the clips forming together of past memories. It felt like closure of his death. For me the song is basically his legacy song his ending of a chapter/ book. Its crazy hes 56 years old if he was still alive. I wonder what wouldve happened if he lived. The last words he had said when he was singing was "pain" Rip kurt cobain its crazy how long ago this happened I deleted the suicide part idk it felt way too cheesy you guys can tell me what to put i guess and ill credit yo The fact Kurt couldve been 57 today is sad :(
