Recently, Clark Massey interviewed me about my soon-to-be published book The Gap in God's Country. It was an interesting conversation! https://youtu.be/d0nHgIotmtE?si=Rb11N...

I know my cat has not made many appearances lately, so here's a candid shot in my Land Institute experimental garden, part of their Perennial Civic Science project comparing annual and perennial seed and grain crops. You can tell who the real gardener is!

I'm going to discuss the first presidential debate this evening for our Patreon supporters. There's so much to say, and so many concerns. As always, I'll try to take the longer view, and not give folks the same BS they hear on the news (I watched it for you). Hope to see you tonight--7 p.m. US Central Time for all Maurin Academy Patreon supporters!

Early notice of my third summer seminar. This one focuses on Plato and the Platonic influences on the development of early Christianity, and hence its influence on Western culture. For those interested in Ancient Greek philosophy, there will be plenty to think about as I look at some of the most mystical portions of several Platonic dialogues. For those interested in ressourcement theology, there will be more insight into the development of early Christian theology--many concepts were developed that are core tenets of the faith now. For those interested in the development of Western culture, both are important. To register for a donation of any amount, go to: www.eventbrite.com/e/882717049457?aff=oddtdtcreato… or become a patron of the Maurin Academy and gain access to everything we do! www.patreon.com/maurinacademy More coming soon!
