Congrats on everyone for finishing ERAS! I saw one of my ERAS videos got a lot of views in the last week, so just wanted to share another one that I think might be helpful now that you have submitted. It is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=des...

Let me know if you have ANY questions regarding applying and I am happy to make a video to address them!

It happened! ā€Ŗ@DGlaucomfleckenā€¬ dropping wisdom on the importance of humor in a career that can often push us to our limits. To any student: remember that, in studying to taking care of others, never forget about yourself. And if you see someone who is struggling, be the one who offers help, comfort, and most importantly, love.

I'm graduating in a week, and I also know many others are celebrating graduations! Even if you are not graduating, congratulations on getting through another year. I never thought grads were all that important, but as I've studied for more years, I've come to realize it's important to celebrate every occasion. You worked hard, you tried your best, and you came out with a little bit more knowledge than you had at this time last year. Take some time to acknowledge that and give yourself a day to celebrate :)

Hello! Happy Hump Day! I'm making a list of conferences that all students should be aware of since it gives them a chance to present their research and share their learnings. If you have a conference you've attended in the past, can you comment with the 1) NAME of Conference, 2) DATE of Conference, and 3) Specialty of Conference. I'll share the list with everyone here in a week!

Here's the general template:

I use humor as a coping mechanism, but there's a lot of discomfort in the medical community right now with what has occurred in the last 24 hours with the potential "overturning" of Roe vs. Wade. Just creating a list of resources with the latest updates:

1. Actual leaked draft of the decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade: www.politico.com/f/?id=00000180-874f-dd36-a38c-c74ā€¦
2. Screenshots of important "Snippets" from that draft are also attached as photos.
3. Attaching photos of a few individuals who you should follow as they are practicing OB-GYNs with credible information on the subject.

Let's be real: Anesthesiology is incredible, but it scares me that we still don't really know how it works. šŸ˜‚
