Tom Simek was born and raised in upstate New York, has a Masters and Bachelors in Music Composition and got into writing educational children's music while living abroad in Greece and teaching English as a second language. He began to compose material to aid his students and eventually went to work writing for EFL Publishing house M.M. Publications. Tom is a professional pianist and published author, who has a passion for extreme sports.
