In this workshop we will flow through five waves, these waves are as follows:

1. Slow & Sweet: Touching the Subtle Divine
2. Finding Still Point: Meditation & Contemplation
3. Deep into Self: Flow from Passivity to Conscious Choice
4. Relational Alchemy: from Self into Deep Devotion of other
5. Embodied Flow: Finding the Godhead in Trance States of Dance

First, we find devotion in something much grander than our individual selves. Only when we have met truth, and expanded beyond the limitations of our own egoic mind, can we truly see the truth in another, see the greatness in another. When we are devoted to life, to truth, and to our own expansion, we uncover a deep capacity to love without expectation, without certainty. We learn to love without tether, we learn to trust life, to trust the flow of energy moving in and around us. In the unveiling of this deep capacity to love, we can devote ourselves wildly to one another. We can transcend our limiting beliefs about what is “right” and “just” and meet one another beyond the veils of time, distraction, and limited perception.

⭕️

Within this workshop, we find a brave space, to pull pack transactional conditioning in order to clear space for more trusting, loving, and devotional ways of loving ourselves and one another.

Coming out of refuge.
Out of the sanctuary, that has deep internal shedding.
What a fu$king initiation this past year has been.

European Summer & Canadian Fall Tour Schedule
Still some dates to come

I’ve been doing less, and feeling more this past last year. Being selective about where I share my energy, and with whom. The dance, yoga and mindful community, the spaces where soul family meet to play, growl and unwind….it is calling me. Beckoning me back to the dance floor, to the yoga Shala, to the medicine ceremony.

It’s calling me into the medicine spaces, deeper into the jungles, the beaches, the wildly diverse places of play and dissolution.

Incredibly grateful for the places I am sure to find deeper, and more authentic versions of myself as I detangle more and more. May the tour of musical ecstasy, self evolution and movement commence.

We begin in Mexico. Seems I’ve needed to sit deeper in my own cultural roots before taking fight.

Tao Te Ching

Verse 11
Tao Te Ching
Thirty spokes on a cartwheel
Go towards the hub that is the center
but look, there is nothing at the center
and that is precisely why it works!
If you mould a cup you have to make a hollow:
it is the emptiness within it that makes it useful
In a house or room it is the empty spaces
The doors, the windows- that make it useable
They all use what they are made of
to do what they do,
but without their nothingness they would be nothing.

In every personal relationship
There is you
There is other
There is the mystic third

There is a force much larger than the energy of our individual ego’s needs, desires and perceptions. When we give ourselves over to the greater power that sits behind and beyond the veil, we offer ourselves at the altar of life. Whether we call that force Mother Nature, Pachamama, Wakan Tanka, Yahweh, God, Great Spirit, or the Ultimate Truth. It is not what we call it that matters, what truly matters is the trust and faith we have in knowing that we are not in control, but ultimately held, and in service to something greater. It is our willingness and collaboration that guide us to be led from somewhere deeper within ourselves than our individual conditioning, and illusory stories.

Trusting as well that the force behind us, is a benevolent force, and one that desires more communion and unity. A force that even in our trials and tribulations, challenges us to become what we have come here to be. It is the humility to get over our “selves” and to step back to see a larger picture. It is the understanding that in our limited perceptions of the human experience, we are but a tiny fragment of the ultimate truth.
When we can let go, and let in, we are internally and eternally guided. When we give our skill, our ability, our presence to “The Way” life begins to flow in more natural order. That does not mean that we do not experience pain, or loss any longer, but it does mean that our perception of these experiences change. What we have experienced as pain before becomes less personal and more growth oriented. What challenges us, shows us where we still have more space to feel, to experience, to understand, to relate and to expand.
When it seems that love is taken away from us, or resources, or purpose, or desire. When we feel left behind, discarded, or unseen. When we feel empty, useless, and heavy. This is a time, not to dive deeper into self pity, but to allow the clearance to be a new seeding ground for something new to be planted. May the rejection be seen as redirection, may the emptiness be seen as spaciousness, may the lovelessness be felt as a deeper understanding of the ultimate love between your higher Self, and life. Maybe you have planted yourself where you are not meant to be planted, and maybe what seems to be taken away from you, is simply in the way.

Sometimes when we are walking the “wrong” way, or listening to the “wrong” words, or looking into the “wrong” eyes for truth, for love, for hope….life has a way of taking away our sight, our hearing, and our access to what is not in alignment. Instead of chasing what seems to be falling away, allow yourself to fall into uncertainty instead. We do not have to know the way, the way knows the way.

A seed for contemplation

“In what areas of your life, do you feel effortlessly held? In what areas do you find the most resistance? If you could sing sweetly a prayer to the force higher than yourself, could you pray aloud and offer yourself fully to it to be effortlessly danced, to be effortlessly led, to be effortlessly loved. Asking it to place you where you are meant to be lived, to place you in the arms where you are meant to be loved, to place you in front of the eyes that are meant to see you, in front of the ears that are meant to hear you. Could you offer in that prayer to be placed in each of these places not for your own individual good, but for the highest good, and the highest growth. Could you do so knowing that whatever it is that you have been grasping onto or chasing after may be taken far from you, but never truly far.

Could you trust, truly trust, that when you let go, you will find yourself exactly where you are meant to be. The soil is rich where you are meant to grow. Sometimes it requires long hours, painful storms, and radiating heat but if you can allow yourself to be divinely led to where it is you are meant to journey, the harvest will be rich. Trust your connection to the divine. Quiet down, listen in and you will see that the way has been there all along.

Let’s be honest ,
Sometimes life feels like an absolute shit show.
What even is this experiment?
What an absurd expression of life.

“What am I doing here?”
“Where am I going?”
“Who am I?”

The last year and a half has felt like a complete obliteration for me.
I have dissolved.
Disintegrated.
Questioned everything.
Become so incredibly angry.
So incredibly sad.

I have been beyond my limits, and also limitless.
I have felt completely burdened, and without burden.
I have felt so incredibly full.
At other times strikingly empty.

I have detached from everything, and in other moments been so attached that I’ve felt anchored to my choices.
I have fallen deeply in love.
I have been shattered by my love.
I have been open by my love.
I have felt alone.
I have never felt more in divine company.

Exposed.
Raw.
True.
Dual.
Confused.
Doubtful.
Faithful.

A mess of emotions.
A sea of sensation.
The eye of a wild storm.
The calm ripple of a still lake.

What the actual fu$&.
Live from inside the void, I remind myself that moments like these.
Where I laugh.
Love.
Cry.
Feel.
To remember these moments with deep care.
Especially the laughter and the play.

Because wherever I’m going.
I’m not taking any of this with me.
Not even myself.

But the love.
The laughter.
I’ll be taking all of that with me.

What an incredible dualistic paradox I find myself in.
The great mystery.
Uncertain.
I surrender.

We live within a time that is referred to by Metamodernists as the Shame regime.

⭕️

Our unconscious relationship to our collective darkness is used against us in an exploit to have us purchase more, consume more, produce more and be more.

The levity of toxic positivity being pressed upon a repressed collective soma is that the collective body is exhausted with upholding unrealistic norms towards what it means to be a “healthy” “holistic” individual.

⭕️

We are pressed to fight the darkness and triumph in light. The reality is, we have disowned a large percentage of our collective personality and expression. The profane has been pushed aside in a hierarchical evolutionary model to be without sin, to be without darkness, to be without discord.

and what is sin?

⭕️

Sin is anything that has fallen from perfection. It is an unreal standard to withhold, and it is not holistic.

Our darkness has value. Our anger, our grief, our pain, our sex. There is power is knowing what you are capable of and choosing in alignment with what you want to see in the world, but too ignore your demons, your shadows, your darkness is to ignore the very fundamental aspects of your Self.

⭕️

May we find more wholeness, and come into connection with what lay beneath the surface and at the fringe.

An apparently total and irrational submission to the dark.

We are finding ourselves currently, consciously or unconsciously, surrendering ourselves to a larger force of Mother Nature and human nature. At times this force can feel benevolent and collaborative, and at other times, in her great mystery and our egoistic misunderstanding, sinister.

There is a break in our internal mental structures being beckoned to bring us beyond our current limitations and into more expansive ways of perceiving and experiencing human nature, and human faculties. We are being given an initiation to go beyond our concept of beyond. We are being given an opportunity to experience timelessness, and true authentic conscious nature.

At times this somatic and psychological dissolution/disintegration can feel so deeply personal, piercing and sharp that we are left in absolute terror of the unknown. When we cling to the ownership of this shattering we tend to experience deeper egoistic suffering. On the other hand, if we can surrender ourselves to the void and allow our comprehension of self to fall away, we begin to hear what the great mystery has to say to us. In finding emptiness, we begin to make space for what is to become,
instead of fearing what has been. In embracing darkness, nothingness and emptiness we begin to find peace with such blackness.

It takes a great amount of courage to give “ourselves” away to a force and a unified field that we have not yet comprehended. This moment in time can set itself to be a true benchmark in humanity’s spiritual capacity to submit and trust what is beyond our scientific and quantum explanations, and to leap into the greater unknown.

We are being asked to surrender the ways in which we have individualized ourselves, and forgotten our greater nature. What choices we make will ultimately lead to a deeper limitation, or a greater expansive potential.

What you choose to believe isn’t the true initiation, it’s what you allow yourself to experience beyond choice, beyond comfort, beyond your universal agreements, contracts and perceptions of light and dark, right and wrong, life and death, good and evil.

What are you unwilling to feel, to let go of, to experience? What is beyond your limitation of self?

Feeling incredibly grateful to be reunited with this beautiful island. It’s been 4 years since I have been in Bali. Feeling honored to be reuniting with the island, and the dance floor. Djing Sundays ecstatic dance at Yoga Barn for the first time. I spent years as a dancer dancing on this platform, and now I get to bring the music.

If you know, you know. It’s a big one. Around 300 people together in the jungle. So much energy, so much love. Excited to take you on a journey.

I’ll be collaborating with a dear sister Sarasvati Dasi. She will be bringing her musicality and voice to the space. Blessings to ride the wave with you sister.
