When we first start meditating, we immediately feel more content. But soon, this state becomes familiar, and the practice turns into a routine, with its positive effects no longer as evident.

As a result, we stop meditating regularly twice a day, and over time, we might stop practicing altogether. One way to fix this is to maintain inspiration.

Ideation helps with this. Concentrating on the thought "everything is love" brings feelings into the practice, leaving us fulfilled after meditation. Dada Sadananda explains this in more detail in his completely free basic course: meditationsteps.org/basic_course

What helps you maintain the regularity of your practice?

Experience the Healing Power of Kiirtan

Kiirtan, the practice of singing the mantra "Baba Nam Kevalam," offers a transformative effect on the mind. Traditionally, it is a dynamic meditation performed before static meditation to shift focus from external distractions to inner calm. However, its soothing vibrations can also be used to alleviate anxiety, relax before sleep, or prepare for important tasks—enhancing overall mood and well-being.

Discover the calming essence of kiirtan with Juthika's wonderful performance in this video. Let the mantra's melody guide you to a state of peace and tranquility.

DON'T TAKE SUPPLEMENTS—EAT ZUCCHINI

Zucchini is a variety of common squash, originating from Italy. This vegetable is rich in vitamins B1, B2, and PP, but it is particularly high in vitamin C—just half as much as in a grapefruit! Why spend thousands of rubles on supplements when one medium zucchini covers almost half of the daily requirement for folic acid?

Moreover, our sattva-bot has a recipe for zucchini in a creamy sauce, which we will share with you here:

Ingredients:

- 2 small zucchinis
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sambar masala
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 150 ml heavy cream (or sour cream)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Herbs

Recipe:

1. Cut the zucchinis into wedges or large cubes. Add spices, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix well. Roast the zucchinis in the oven at 200ºC for 20 minutes.
2. In a hot pan, combine the cream, tomato paste, salt, and herbs. Mix well.
3. Add the roasted zucchinis and stir to combine.

Pride shields our soul from sincerity, blocks relationships with others, and hinders personal growth.

Tips for Breaking Free from Its Chains

- Awareness of Its Presence
Only by critically looking at ourselves and acknowledging its presence can we begin to work on ourselves.

- Reflection on Its Sources
Pride arises from the desire for recognition. We believe we have achieved significant results and deserve the respect of others. Once we realize that our goals and achievements are superficial and fleeting, changes begin to occur.

- Practice Humility
This involves recognizing our shortcomings, being open to criticism, accepting mistakes, and learning from them. It helps maintain healthy relationships with others and grow as individuals.

- Develop Empathy and Compassion
Pride prevents us from seeing the needs of others, creates a barrier with those around us, and makes us selfish and overconfident. Developing empathy and compassion removes these obstacles—we listen, understand, and support, becoming sincere and open.

- Continuous Self-Analysis and Self-Control
Overcoming pride is not an instant process but a journey of self-improvement. We ask ourselves questions, analyze our emotions and actions, identify weaknesses, and strive to improve. Self-analysis helps us notice when pride starts to creep back into our lives and prevents its negative influence.

Sadness, melancholy, irritability — these are signs of dissatisfaction with life. When what is happening around stops bringing joy, a person does not notice the good and focuses only on the bad. But this is a misperception: even in difficult moments, one can find something to thank the Universe for.

A simple gratitude practice: before going to bed, recall all the positive things that happened during the day. To start, find 10 reasons to say “thank you.” For example, breakfast. It seems like a trifle, but not everyone on the planet has the opportunity to eat when they want.

Work, weather, relationships with loved ones — you can find something good in everything around you. By developing positive thinking, we thereby protect ourselves from mental ailments that lead to physical illnesses.

Let’s start a wave! Write in the comments what you are grateful for today ⬇️

And be sure to react to the messages that resonate with you.

Life is our closest friend. Sometimes, it may seem that it’s not as kind to us as we would like. But there’s no need to fear difficulties. They are merely steps on the path to success. They teach us to value victories, make us stronger, wiser, and tougher. It is precisely during times of trials that we discover talents and strengths within ourselves that we never knew existed.

In 20 years, we will be more disappointed by the things we didn’t do than by the things we did. Time is the most valuable and precious resource because it cannot be bought or acquired elsewhere. Each of us is given a certain amount, but everyone uses it differently. Life is happening to us right now, so why do we keep putting it off?

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE

Life happens here and now. It is in this very moment that our body and mind exist, as the past is gone and the future has not yet arrived.

So, do we have a tomorrow or a yesterday?

No. Today is the time that truly belongs to us, but it is limited. Can we afford to waste this day? No. Trivial arguments, resentments, short meaningless videos, and sadness burn away our most valuable resource. Before you know it, morning turns to night, bringing with it the end of what might be the last day of your life.

Let's value the time we have. Don’t put off what’s useful and important until tomorrow or Monday; instead, put down your phone and engage in something that brings real pleasure and benefit.
