You don't want to be less afraid, you want to become braver! Think about that for a bit...

We with anxiety often obsessively try to get rid of something instead of building and creating something positive.
The harder you try not to do or think about something the more its existence is confirmed.

Instead, reframe your mindset and take opportunities into your own hands to become braver.

Proactively sit down and make anxious thoughts arise, proactively go to the mall or meet friends and don't wait until you are "forced" to do so.

By being the person who is willingly able to confront his/her fears you will not be less afraid but will be the brave person who knows that you can handle a situation.

We have officially crossed 50.000 Subscribers - I can hardly believe it but I spent a bit of time going through a lot of comments today and it was the perfect reminder that all the hard work and the hundreds of hours I put into the videos truly help so many.

I will be honest and say that there have been times when I found it hard to make/find the motivation to keep going BUT it is my wife and even kids who remind me how much of an impact the videos make - they watch them all and are astonished by all the great comments the videos get and can see how much they help others <3 and want me to keep going :D And so I am always back (even after a few months)

Everything I create here on this channel is simply content that I wish I would have had back in my anxiety days and that I believe is the most valuable to someone experiencing anxiety. My experiences and lessons with anxiety should not go unused :D and should help accelerate others on their recovery and help them get out of it quicker.

I still don't want to be the guy who sells overpriced courses or wants to keep the "secret key" to recovery behind a paywall, so if you can and want to - you may want to consider supporting the channel by purchasing the book here: ➡️ bit.ly/491vxZl
⬅️ or by supporting the channel via membership here: ➡️ youtube.com/improvementpath/join ⬅️

Thanks for subscribing to the channel and leaving all your lovely comments and words of encouragement! It is the biggest part of what is keeping the channel alive <3

Do you know what winning the day is?

Are you even aware of what it means (for you) to win? What is a “good day” for you?

If you have no idea what it means to win, then every day, you will feel like you are losing… that is especially the case for us dealing with anxiety.

Anxiety is so debilitating and soul-crushing that it often depletes us from all mental and physical energy, and we fall into this deep hole of hopelessness and in that hole, it can feel like every day is just the same – fighting off anxiety and its symptoms and staying alive – “winning” suddenly means something like “oh thank god I didn’t have too many symptoms today” – no ups ONLY downs… the win is still a loss…

Your goal for recovery is to climb out of that hole and REGAIN CONFIDENCE in yourself and your abilities.

To achieve this, you HAVE to know what your goals are.

You should be noting down what a good day looks like for you.

Make a checklist that you can tick off and at the end of the day, you review what you have achieved.
These should be small things like getting up when you said you would, making the bed in the morning or walking 10k steps in the day.

Prove to yourself that you are someone who will do what you said you will do.

Get those wins in!!! You need them and if you look back on that checklist or journal a month later or so, you will be able to see how much you have actually accomplished and progressed.

Only by knowing what you want to achieve and then ticking them off, you will get small boosts of confidence that will little by little help you climb out of that anxiety hole.

Did you get an official Anxiety Diagnosis or did the medical practitioners simply rule out everything else?

This is why you should look at anxiety as a toddler. Instead of trying to find calm while your toddler is screaming and whining for attention by trying to suppress and drown the stress give him/her a meaningful outlet that will gradually calm and redirect all that energy into something positive that will ultimately give you that long-term anxiety relief.
