Hello :) I think it's about time for another summer camping trip... βΊοΈπ₯ποΈπ¦
π¦βοΈ Do you remember the original 'Calm Cafe'? I released the βRainy Night Coffee Shop Ambienceβ exactly 4 years ago today π, and in that time over 16 million "visitors" have dropped by to study, sleep, relax, eat, cook, draw, hang out, teach, etcβ¦ I had no idea of the effect this was going to have on people or my channel. Fast forward 4 years, and this video has been imitated thousands of times. Entire channels and even businesses have taken this idea and run with it. To be honest, when I made this, I had no idea what I was doing π, but I trusted my gut and tried my best to create the type of atmosphere that I found myself craving when the world felt uncertain... and I still look back at this video for inspiration when I create new cafe videos.
Unfortunately, in 2022, I received copyright claims for the music and despite my best efforts to find a solution, I could no longer offer it ad-free. I'm still a little sad about that. The bright side is that it motivated me to start using original music composed specifically for my cafes, and now I can offer unique music for each video and I can make it available on streaming platforms as well. Perhaps someday I'll make a part 2 to this video... who knows what the future holds!
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you again for watching that video, subscribing to this channel, and supporting me in this project. I truly love making cafe videos, and I feel very fortunate to have an audience that also loves them. I try not to create too many of them throughout the year because I want each one to feel unique and maintain quality. Thanks for your support and patience!
