Hello lovely people, Hopefully you are all well? We sadly weren't able to film a video last weekend because I (Kirsten) was still recovering from a heavy cold and needed some downtime. Luckily I'm a lot better again and we can resume filming this weekend.
Due to the 4th of July celebration in the US (we hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend) and general elections in the UK our latest video fell a bit under the radar so in case you haven't watched it yet: We stayed at an amazing former windmill in Kent which is the most beautiful place. Hello everyone, Last night or morning rather at 2am we returned from Germany! It was total chaos as we flew from Hamburg with a layover in Frankfurt. Due to a found bomb from WWII there were flight restrictions at FRA airport and our flight was late. We actually thought we would miss our flight to England. Our picture shows us on the plane to Manchester where we felt relieved that we made it to our connecting flight. Well, the story doesn’t end here: Having arrived at Manchester airport, one of our suitcases didn’t come with camera gear etc. I actually wanted to edit a new video and release it on Thursday but Lufthansa stopped me as I need to wait for the missing suitcase which should
be with us tomorrow. I now hope to be able
to publish the new video on Friday but we will definitely let you know. So sorry about this!
Good morning! We just wanted to give you a heads up that we weren't able to film a video last weekend with all our kitchen planning etc. We are always so busy during the week and usually film our videos on weekends so simply needed time to discuss and plan. Our new kitchen won't be installed before the end of October so we will probably share everything with our Christmas content (I can't believe I'm saying 'Christmas' at this time of year!).

Hello everyone, Sadly we don’t have a video tonight due to illness so we weren’t able to film in the weekend. We are planning to film as usual this weekend and hopefully it works out.
Last week we went to the Michael & Michelle concert in Manchester and it was so amazing. We would have loved to share a small snippet but we can’t share video here in the community tab. How sad! Anyway, Michael is Michael Fox and Michelle is Michelle Dockery. Most of you may know them from Downton Abbey. Michelle shared that she and Michael started to jam and write songs on the Downton Abbey set and here there are now making music on stage. Their voices blend so beautifully and they just ooze peace. We have just returned from Germany where we enjoyed time with our family. We haven’t resumed filming yet so there won’t be a video tonight. So far we are still planning the upcoming months but we will definitely keep you posted. Sending much love, Kirsten & Joerg
Merry Christmas from Germany! We hope you’re all having a lovely Christmas. This year is very very different without my beloved mother. To be honest it’s so incredibly hard and I really struggle. My dad’s 3 months old puppy Lotta is a ray of sunshine and brings so many smiles and much happiness to us and we couldn’t be more grateful for her.
We are Kirsten & Joerg, a German couple who moved to the UK 8 1/2 years ago.
