It's unlikely that the channel that filed the copyright complaint saw our post from yesterday, but either way they have released the claim to our audio so we're able to release the video. Hope you enjoy the video.

Earlier this year, I got up before dawn and travelled into the nearby forest to record the sound of the wildlife with as little man-made noise as possible. The recordings turned out really nice. However, the birds must have been singing some popular songs that day because every video in which we have used these recordings have been copyright claimed.

This has massively disrupted our upload schedule as we like to release our full length videos without ads. While a video has a claim on it YouTube will insert ads every few minutes which would be intolerable.

The claims are obviously automated, and the claimants don’t have a leg to stand on as we have all the original source files. However, the issue is that the disputes we file don’t get reviewed. The claims just sit there until they expire adding a further 28 days before we can release a video the way we want to release it.

I was really hoping to have a new video for release today. But it looks like it will be several weeks from now instead.
