Hey folks! Going into a pretty busy week so I probably won't be able to release a video on Thursday. It feels kinda bad because my latest video about PvP hasn't gotten a push in impressions at all i.e. youtube is not putting it in front of people to even get a chance to click or ignore it, and I don't know why.

All of my videos so far have gotten a humongous spike of impressions at a certain point. Take a look at the second image comparing my dysfunctions video and the pvp one. What I had noticed was that if my CTR drops during this spike, youtube will turn off the tap on the impressions. The videos that are able to ride this spike with a good CTR get more impressions, and therefore more views (because your video can't get a view if it doesn't get served at all).

But the pvp video never got the spike. The CTR has been quite good, and even the average view duration has consistently been higher than the motivators video, which has performed much better impressions- and views- wise.

If any of you know why this could be, I would be very happy to know. Not gonna lie, it's a bit disheartening. Hopefully youtube just did a delayed gratification sort of thing and the video gets a chance to fail on its own :D I wish you all a great week ahead.

Hey folks, we're diving into PvP tomorrow! Hope you'll tune in and learn something about how to manage conflicts within the party. I'm quite stoked at how well my Travis and Liam drawings turned out, so let me share them with you, along with my three working thumbnails. The working title at the moment is: "Is PvP in D&D Always BAD?". Again, feedback is always welcome in service of getting better at the youtube thumbnail and title game.

Hot damn I'm up against it. This week I'm planning to release a video about enhancing your roleplay - and getting some valuable insights about yourself too - by figuring out some moving motivators. That is if I can record everything tomorrow (or technically later today, soooo tired!).

Help me refine my thumbnails please! I'm usually already bad at making things look catchy and pretty, but now I feel like I'm extra bad because of how tired I am -_-; I can usually come up with at least three, but the well is dry at the moment.

Hey folks! Coming this Thursday, I'll explore what I consider to be the philosophy that will tie together all the skills and techniques we might learn as DMs. This is my attempt at defining the way of the Agile DM. Hope you will tune in and at the very least, enjoy!

First three photos are my tentative thumbnails. As always, feedback is welcome!

Hey folks! Signal boosting the video from last week, as it seems dead in the water right now. I believe the message will be valuable to many people though, and it's my bad YouTube Title and Thumbnail game that has done this video a disservice.

Working hard to produce the next video right now. I can tease it tomorrow. Yet again, I've gone overboard with making the drawings for this one -_-;

Hey folks! This Thursday we'll dive into a potentially controversial topic and ask: Is your D&D group dysfunctional? Hope you'll tune in! I've gone overboard with creating the drawings and even did some animations this time around. Again, I have three potential thumbnails, though all are of a similar theme so far. What's your favorite? I'm partial to the second one myself, but my instincts have proven to be bad when it comes to creating thumbnails -_-;

Your feedback would be very much appreciated!

Hello folks! This week we take a look at a DIFFERENT way of organizing your campaign notes and using your DM screen. It's a powerful method that helps you get things done, both in-game, and in real life!

I have these three thumbnails drafted for the ABC test. Would love to hear your thoughts! Which one would you click, and which one do you think would win?

HO-LY-SH*T! 10k+ views and more than 150 new subscribers! I can't express how grateful I am to everyone who spent the time to watch my video about how tacticians are awesome actually! To all of you who watched it, reacted to it, left a comment, or subscribed, please know that I appreciate you. It may be just a drop in the bucket compared to other youtubers, but to me it means the world, and it motivates me to make sure I earn your trust and time.

The next one is coming out on Thursday. I'm really new to this youtube game so I still have to experiment a lot with thumbnails. I have three for the thumnail ABC test. Which one would you click?

What's the difference between running a linear campaign and a railroad? This week we take a look at how to drive a Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other ttrpg campaign to a specific moment or scene without resorting to railroading.

Your party just killed an NPC that you planned to be a recurring villain. How sweaty are your armpits?

In my upcoming video, let's see how we can make such things as painless as possible.
