Hi all ❤️ I always forget about the community tab here, but wanted to let you know that I posted 3 new videos in November! So excited to say that they're all sponsored collabs!!! I worked really hard to deliver high-quality, honest, and engaging content and am so proud of how they turned out. It would mean the world if you could give them a watch, like, comment 🥹

The 3 videos:
- My most worn NEIWAI pieces (review of my faves)
- 20 Teacher Outfits
- MOFT Review

The sweetest comment: "After watching your video, I can safely say that your GRWM are my favorites because they hold such depth I can connect with." (Ty Jenn 🥹)

A lil heart to heart for my last video of 2022 ❤️ Please enjoy this chatty get ready with me where I answer all your juicy questions about love, when I’m going to get married lol, saying ‘I love you,’ work-life balance, things I wish I was better at, things I wish more people knew about me, and more. thank you to everyone who has already watched 🥹

As the Black Friday sales come in full swing, I'm so excited to partner with Linjer to encourage mindful gifting 🎁 They asked me which pieces I wanted to include in my holiday gift guide, and I let my mom, sister, and best friends each choose a Christmas gift 😙 Click to see which they chose! It'd mean a lot if you could show their video some love.. it's uploaded on their channel instead of mine this time ❤

LIMITED TIME FREEBIE! One of my favorite lessons: Intro to Intersectionality 🌈 PLZ READ.

Hesitations: I have mixed feelings about sharing my resources because I feel like there’s such a passive and silent “save and steal for later” culture on IG that isolates and undermines educators who share their work for free (I’m guilty of this at times, too). So, if you end up downloading it (or even saving this post for later), I would love and really appreciate it if you could leave a comment or share this post! Or a review on TPT! Or message me to let me know what you think/how it went! 🥰 It just sucks to put your hard work into the world and have no idea know where it ends up 🥺 Please respect my work and do not share the materials with others; please redirect them to my TPT instead 😊

Lesson Description: If you're looking for an interactive, easy-to-teach and easy-to-understand lesson on intersectionality, this is (humbly) it. This is one of my favorite lessons to teach! I've taught it in virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings, and it always encourages introspection and vulnerability, helps build a classroom culture of understanding, and lays an important framework for the rest of the course. I taught it to my 9-12th grade Ethnic Studies class, but I strongly believe all classes at all grade levels can use this lesson.

Context: The amount of time and effort I spent creating my lessons, class slides, and materials was entirely unsustainable (u get it? cuz I couldn't sustain the job lolll), but I'm so proud of the materials I've created and am finally getting around to (slowwwly) putting them out into the TPT world for fellow teachers to buy (thank you to my TEP friends for the encouragement 2 years ago 🥹💛). These materials are seriously like my babies, which is why I also take great care in typing out step-by-step instructions for teachers on how to best use the them.

Transparency: I currently have 0 followers on TPT (but 8 people have purchased my “I am From” Poems!!!), and apparently people put limited time high-quality freebies to build trust and rapport, and get reviews... so I'm going to try it out! ☺️ Here is one of my best lessons (based on how I feel teaching it AND my students’ feedback) that took me so long to think of and create 🤞🏻 p.s. don’t forget to read the speaker notes! I spent a lot of time reliving my entire lesson to write step-by-step dialogue of how I teach it! By no means do you have to teach it like me, but hopefully it helps provide context.
