Gabe Watkins is an Australian-Thai indie-pop solo artist based in Bangkok, Thailand. His love for indie-pop and alternative music was formed at an early age, and continued into his adulthood as he began writing and releasing his own music.
Now a part of What the Duck Music records, Gabe has fully immersed himself into the music world, debuting his first single with the label, ‘Flowers From Japan’ in August 2022.
As the 20-year-old Australian-Thai singer/songwriter prepares his debut album, he's holding close to music that feels inventive, honest, and true to his wide-ranging passions.
Taking inspiration from Mac Miller, John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac, Phoebe Bridgers, and everyone in between, Gabe’s style has a cutting distinctive tone which immediately grabs your attention, fusing the warmth of the alternative music Gabe grew up listening to with a mellow, up-beat yet intimate sound.
