To all of my subscribers:

I want to start by saying that when I started Toddlers Can Read, my goal was to build the best at-home reading program in the world. That was it. And I planned to spend the rest of my career working to improve TCR's products, reach, and impact in service of that mission.

Transparently, I had never planned to work with anyone else on this journey. But if I've learned anything from running this business the last three years it's been that having a goal and knowing the path are two separate things. I've had a goal, that much is clear. But the truth is: I've never quite known the path. I didn't know I was going to become an "influencer" or a keynote speaker. I didn't know I was going to create physical products and obsess over their quality. I didn't know I'd get to personally support tens of thousands of families from all over the world, united to create better lives for their children.

And I certainly didn't know that I would join forces to create with the amazing team ‪@Lovevery‬!

Thank you to each and every person who has supported my family, my team, and my business here at Toddlers Can Read. I told you we had some amazing changes coming in 2024 and I hope you love them! I'm also excited to share my conversation with Lovevery CEO Jessica Rolph next week.

Check out the Reading Skills Kit from Lovevery in the comments!

I get a lot of questions asking the right age to teach a child how to read. And the answer depends less on a child's AGE and more on their reading STAGE... which is different for every child.

If you want to know more about your child's reading stage, take my free quiz. I'll email you customized recommendations for next steps based on what they can DO, not on how old they are. I have one for younger readers and older readers: www.toddlersread.com/quizzes

Toddlers Can Read isn't just for toddlers anymore! We're so excited to offer the Reading Rules online course.

This course is best for:

👉🏽 Kids 8+ who are struggling with reading
👉🏽 Kids 6-7 who are reading right around grade level
👉🏽 Kids 5 and under who are really far ahead

I break down exactly how to teach all the advanced phonics sounds, the rules that go with them, and how to sound out the most important sight words. The entire course is online with handouts, flashcards, lesson plans, and fluency passages you can print and use anywhere!

Here it is: toddlersread.myshopify.com/collections/all/product…
