Dropping a new chill/downtempo tune today. Some of you on my Insta have gotten a preview already. I finally finished it, I think. If you already caught the first upload today before I pulled it, I pulled it because I noticed the visualization added a swish sound at each visual transition, which I didn't catch before I uploaded it, so that's a no-go. Unfortunate, because it was a cool-looking visual. So, I'm re-rendering with another visualizer. Stay "tuned" (haha, music pun).

Hey guys, I'm thinking of uploading a DJ mix or two again. My first musical endeavor was DJing and making mixes, and I have a vinyl trance mix I did several years ago as a tribute to a childhood friend and DJ who tragically left this world in 2015. I never posted it here before. I'm also thinking of doing a new DJ mix of Italo disco/darkwave/synthwave-ish stuff, and sprinkling in some of my own original tracks and remixes. Kinda glad I never sold off my DJ gear!

One thing non music makers might not be aware of is how agonizing it can be to find the right drum sounds for a track. I have a couple new tracks I've been working on and I've almost spent as much time browsing Splice looking for drums that sound right as I have in the actual writing/producing process.

Hard to believe I now own a JP-8000 and a TX81Z! Going to be rearranging and optimizing the location of my synths and organizing the cables better. Probably going to upgrade one or both 2-tier stands to 3-tier stands to fit everything.

Got some "new" gear coming! A couple of classic synths that were very influential in the 90s, especially in trance - the Roland JP8000 and the Yamaha TX81Z. The JP8000 is best known for those uplifting leads and arpeggiators, but does amazing atmospheric pads as well. The TX81Z is probably best known for that plucky bass sound used in countless trance and house records.

Hi, I'm Aaron. As a neurodivergent (high functioning autistic), I've always felt I was on a different frequency than everyone else, but I have come to accept that it is just part of who I am. I strive to express my feelings and how I relate to the world through sound. I hope you'll tune in to my frequency.
You'll find much of my main influence comes straight out of the 80s and 90s, from synthpop to 90s eurodance, since I lived through those eras and always had a stereo (have I just given away my approximate age?).
This channel showcases original works and remixes of mine, a rare DJ set, and of course synthesizer geekery as I build out my hardware setup.
