Really sorry about the extra wait. Though I edited this particular video myself, I've hired a video editor to help me get my scripts turned into videos. I simply could not keep this up by myself anymore without completely burning out, and the sponsored segments have helped me to both pay my editor and save for my future. Huge shoutout to @ngaming for the contributions to the channel; I can't thank him enough for the work he's done so far.

Sorry I haven't really been active much on socials. I've just been enjoying life, and working on things when I feel like it.

Hi! If you wanna know what my plans are for this year and beyond, I would kindly suggest reading this whole thing, thank you :)
January is usually a pretty bad month for uploading videos on YouTube, so I've taken some time to get organized and catch up on my personal life. Luckily, I have a pretty concrete idea on what I want to do for the next few years. Here are the most important things:
FIRST: I will be launching a second channel sometime this year, hopefully soon. On this channel, you will see first playthroughs of games in the vein of my edited Tears of the Kingdom playthrough I uploaded last year, playthroughs in which I introduce my brother to games I love (and vice versa), as well as multiplayer nonsense like fighting game friendlies and whatnot.
I've wanted to make Let's Play-adjacent videos since I started watching YouTube videos in the late 2000s. It informed a lot of how I go about making my own videos, believe it or not. I intend to put effort into maintaining it, without compromising the spirit of this channel in the process. Though the format may be different, I think you'll still get a kick out of it.
That said, this will not impact the rate at which I upload videos on this channel, which has already slowed because of how much time and effort it takes to get a script together that I am genuinely proud of. I will not abandon this channel to make Let's Plays. The two will coexist. I'll post a video here announcing the channel when it's ready to go live.
SECOND: The reason I am doing this is because I felt I needed to shake up how I go about making videos. I really don't want my passion for this to be lost. Doing this has enabled me to be my own boss, and to talk about the things that are important to me in a constructive way, in turn helping me become a better writer. That said, I have higher aspirations as a writer than just talking about other people's work, and I intend to work towards that, eventually transitioning out of YouTube entirely. I want to tell my own stories, make cool stuff for you to enjoy in a variety of mediums. That day will come eventually, but I'm still working towards it, so it's chill. I'm not retiring yet, it's okay. I'll be here.
THIRD: You won't be getting a Tears of the Kingdom video for a while longer, but Zelda will continue to be a mainstay on this channel. Also, the first video of 2024 will be up next month.

This year was full of some of the highest highs and lowest lows I've ever experienced, but I feel I'm going to remember this year as one of the most important. I met so many great people at TooManyGames, I finally visited Japan, relationships came and went, I fought through illness, I released so many different passion projects, and I set a clear goal for myself regarding what I want to achieve over the next several years. I feel like I am the best version of myself that I've ever been, and I want to thank you all for coming along for the ride as I make videos. It's no secret that I imbue a lot of my personal experiences into these videos, and let's just say I had plenty of experiences to pull from this year. I grew a lot, and in spite of the bad stuff - I regret very little that happened this year.
Here's to 2024, and I sincerely hope you all have a good one. Thank you all so much for the support! :)

Do you currently watch Let's Plays, gameplay videos with commentary, or stream highlight videos, and would you watch those kinds of videos if I did more of them?
I've been planning something for a long time now, but I've held off as I don't know how much of my core audience would be interested, and because live streaming is the far more successful option, but I honestly greatly prefer pre-recorded and edited stuff to live streaming as a whole.
