Could Nvidia actually release their next-gen flagship, the RTX 5090, at a lower price than the 4090? It sounds wild, right? But there are a few signs pointing in that direction. In this video, weāre discussing some interesting rumors, including how the RTX 5090 might feature a smaller, dual-slot coolerāsomething very unexpected for a flagship card. This could suggest lower power requirements, which might mean lower costs, both for Nvidia and us as consumers. To back this up, Iāve run some benchmarks with my RTX 4090 using an 80% power limit and undervolting, proving that this GPU doesnāt need nearly as much power as Nvidia seems to think. Could they have redlined the 4090 unnecessarily? And if so, does that mean theyāll take a different approach with the 5090? Letās explore these possibilities and break down what this could mean for pricing as we look ahead to the next generation of GPUs.

With upscaling(Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS) being so prevalent in all games coming out and some devs even going as far as having it enabled by default, how do you feel about using it?

In this video, Iām putting the hidden Windows Administrator account to the test on my Intel Core i9-13900K rig. After watching Hardware Unboxed discover some surprising performance boosts on Ryzen CPUs using this account, I had to see if it held up on Intel. I tested 19 games to find out if thereās any real FPS gain worth talking about. Iāll break down the data, share my thoughts on why this might not be the best way to boost performance, and offer some safer alternatives. If youāre into detailed benchmarks and no-nonsense advice, youāre in the right place. Letās get into it!

For those of you who are running a 13TH/14TH gen Intel desktop processor and are using DDR5, what memory frequency are you running? I'm just looking for frequency right now you can let me know in the comments what capacity and timings you're using.

Well there you have it... For those who were coping that the 16 core Zen 5 part would perform much better due to higher power headroom, you're going to be severely disappointed. Steve also pointed out that while the 7950X was on average 52% in productivity benchmarks the 9950X vs 7950 was just a mere 3%. For DESKTOP users Ryzen 9000 is a complete and total write-off, and I wouldn't recommend buying it at all unless it was the same price as the 7000 part.

OOFFF Talk about embarrassing. Zen 5% or should I say Zen -5% š. This launch has been quite a disaster depending on the angle you look at and while the chips may be quite efficient in some workloads when it comes to gaming Zen 5 is just a write off I'm afraid. Prices on the mainstream parts definitely need to be lower otherwise they're just straight DOA

A really cool feature of the Z790 Apex Encore is that it has a sensor that monitors transient Vcore spikes called "Vcore Latch Max". Most software based vcore monitoring can't keep up due to the fast nature of the transient spikes, therefore you need something like an oscilloscope. But actually having a sensor onboard telling you that goes a long way.
Take a look at my Vcore Latch Max value, after a full day of usage which included some rendering, some gaming the max value is at 1.431V. Whereas I've seen people state how the degraded chips showed spikes north of 1.58V. Lowering AC/DC LL and setting the appropriate LLC prevents that from happening, and I've been running my chip like this since I got it and its been smooth sailing

Had a chance to finally check out Micro Center while I was travelling down south of the border. Awesome store, really loved the layout of the departments, and staff were friendly. Wish we had a location up north here.
