In honor of its 40th Anniversary next year, we will release the film in theatres nationwide for the first time ever in an all-new 4K restoration supervised by director Oshii.
This seminal masterpiece is a collaboration between writer/director Mamoru Oshii (GHOST IN THE SHELL) and revered artist Yoshitaka Amano (FINAL FANTASY, VAMPIRE HUNTER D), beautifully intertwining Oshii's reflections on philosophy with Amano's distinctive ink painting style.
