Lately I've really started to enjoy running every day. Are you a runner?

These are some of my favorite productivity apps I use every day.

1. Focusmate (focusmate.com)
This is a website that allows you to hop on calls and work alongside people. For someone who has ADHD tendencies, it allows me to consistently jump into a flow state for multiple hours a day. I've never been distracted during a session. I discovered this from Alex Lieberman, an entrepreneur who sold his company for $75m. He said this is the only "productivity hack" that helped him beat procrastination completely.

2. Things 3 (Apple devices only) (culturedcode.com)
This is the best task manager I've found. One time payment, simple to use and minimalist UI with no bloated features. It is based on the GTD framework for task management. The quick add feature on desktop is super sweet.

3. Timelines (iOS only) (timelines.app)
This is my favorite time tracker. Super minimalist and clean UI. Would recommend tracking your time for a period of time to see where your attention is going and to set weekly targets for what you want to be focusing on. It can automatically populates sleep and workout times through your workout tracker, and also import your calendar to track your time that way too.

4. Perplexity (AI-powered search) (perplexity.ai)
I find myself using perplexity more often than Google these days. It aggregates the results and gives you a summary with links. The paid version allows you to choose between different AI models, like ChatGPT or Google's AI. I discovered this from Tobias Lütke, founder of Shopify, who says he has replaced Google with this.

5. Opal (Block all distracting apps) (opal.so)
I use this to make my phone purely a utility device/dumb phone. Distracting apps are blocked on a schedule. You can set it so you can't uninstall the app and you can't unblock a session.

What are your favorite ones?
