Unitywater provides essential water supply and sewage treatment services to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions of Queensland, Australia.
Unitywater delivers quality drinking water and treats 58 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of sewage every day for more than 16% of Queensland’s population, spread across 5223 square km.
Operations began on 1 July 2010 under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail) Act 2009, as part of the Queensland Government water reform program. Unitywater is governed by an independent Board of Directors.
