Had an elevator museum visit today! Thanks so much Joseph for coming all the way from PA.
One of the cool things about living in an apartment is sometimes people leave stuff on the community table. Today I found a pool stick and an old Sony DSC-W220 camera. You guys know how much I love my old digicams and this one is in mint condition and works perfectly. Video will be coming. I guess this is good karma for some stuff I’ve left on the community table.
Normally I would never do something like this but this is something people in Roanoke need to be aware of. I was in Benny's pizza and was totally attacked by the owner or manager for no reason. I was accused of being drunk (I don't drink), throwing up, and spilling vape juice in their bathroom. First of all I DONT DRINK! Second of all, I DID NOT THROW UP IN HIS BATHROOM! Third of all: I did not even have vape juice as I had a disposable.! If you are displeased with what happened to us feel free to call them and PEACEFULLY express it as well as on their google maps page. Their phone is (540) 400-8818
He came up to our table and shouted at the top of his lungs "get the f--k out" I was like pardon me, he said "get the f--k out, you trashed my bathroom you f--king drunk. you threw up all over my bathroom and spilled vape juice. (I never threw up in his bathroom and did not even have vape juice) This makes me so sad as up until now I loved Benny's pizza. My friend politely asked him what was wrong and he said to her "you are a f--king drunk. get the f--k out of my store" My theory is he may have confused me with somebody else because yes the bathroom was very nasty but I did not make it that way. If I had thrown up in the bathroom, I would have gone to the counter and explained it to them and offer to clean it. I would never leave it that way.
I was genuinely scared because he was getting red in the face and was acting aggressive to all 3 of us including my friend who was a female.

So I bought this digicam off eBay and got much more than a camera.. I got a trip down memory lane from some people I don't even know. It had a memory card in it with over 200 photos. I just got done reliving Christmas from almost 20 year ago. A drag race in some small town. A hospital visit of what I would assume is somebody's parent or grandparent. A cat having fun. I am not going to lie, it was kind of emotional going thru the card. That card had almost 10 years worth of photos on it. I saw the kids as they got older. It is like the camera had a story to tell and there is something special about it. It just makes me want to take this specific camera out to continue its legacy of making memories. This is why I find these old digicams so special. Yeah a camera phone is nice, but they go out of date and wear out when the manufacturer of the phone quits making batteries for them. These old digicams can live on forever and continue making memories. Also the whole aspect of not being connected. The photos I found on the camera were clearly family memories and not "hey lets post this on instagram" This is why I love these cameras and buying an old camera with a bunch of memories on it is amazing and emotional. It is like a time machine. These mundane moments found on that old memory stick are somebody's precious memories and I am not going to delete them, rather preserve them. YES I will be making a video about this camera and I will share some of the photos I found on the card after I go thru them.
Does anyone have a Sony tx10 or tx20 they are willing to let go of? It does NOT need to be working. I need a donor one to get parts off of.
I’m wondering. Do we need to do some unboxing and review videos ?

In the mean time, today I took the TX10 out for a little adventure! The raw files are posted for the enjoyment as is the finished video!!
