Iβm putting together a video about the art but itβs taking a lot longer than I want because there are multiple complex issues to respond to. Details, nuance, and proof will come next week, but I thought I should share some answers sooner:
Some of the art incorporates elements that were generated with AI, but the majority of it was made by Photoshopping royalty free images.
None of the art is fully AI or made with just a prompt. Some of the art did not use AI at all.
I paid an artist to create the art. Using AI was his choice, but when he described to me how he used it, I was ok with it. AI was not used in order to have to pay him less. I've seen the artist's process and I believe his use of AI was to assist his artistic vision rather than to replace his creativity.
Somehow this outfit of mine is the one with the greatest love/hate disparity. Which side are you on?! π

Number one thing I wish I could go back to tell my younger self. Make Your Own Rules focuses a lot on creative and career advice, and my weird story, but I count this as the most important thing I have to share. Whatever ways you've been made to feel different, apart, less than, ashamed, not enough - that has all been by and for other people. It's ok if you don't fit in.
