Our first Mission to Spread Smiles trip of 2024 is complete! Over the past month, we visited 19 states and coordinated our first group volunteer events. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Here are some of the highlights:

3) 300 care kits for those experiencing homelessness

5) 1,400 care packages for Soldiers' Angels with USAA volunteers

Ellie and Emma kicked off the first St. Jude patient family "all-call" in over four years! The staff went above and beyond to make it a special day. There were dog-themed cookies to decorate, pawtographs, snacks, and even dog balloons!
We learned so much during our visit, but these are two of the biggest things that stood out to us.
1) Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on helping their child live, regardless of the duration or the cost of care.
2) Treatments developed at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 60 years ago.
