It wasn't enough just for the man to be created in the image of God, but that we needed a female... Defend God's design for marriage because this world needs to see the beauty of the gospel. #shorts The phrase "hold fast to one another" is covenantal language. #shorts Because of sin we have turned the goodness of creation, the goodness of work into an idol. #shorts If you have been created in the image of God, you have been called to work, and work unto the Lord. Part of what motivated me as well was this narrative of America as a uniquely racist country... Social justice is redistributive justice. Social justice is not about equality, it's about equity. We have an opportunity in the 21st century church to expose the evil spirits of this age. And deep down inside the reason we struggle with it is because of sin. We know there is something... Jesus had plenty of opportunities to blur gender lines... and he didn't. Scripture calls us to not allow our feelings to dictate reality. It means that everything you do matters. If you belong to Jesus Christ... Over the last 200 years, roughly, the Church has decided to retreat from culture... From the very beginning, we have been called as the image-bearers of God, to go out and expand... It is the Judeo-Christian worldview of creation that is the basis of modern science... @coralridge
