Before I upload tomorrow’s video... I’d just like to preface two things:
1.) Vince’s instruction has made me a WAY more complete martial artist
2.) I am very excited to have partnered with Century Martial Arts
So in tomorrow’s video, we share a drill called “The Floor is Lava,” where Vince explains a wrestling concept known as “cat butt.” This visual gets the idea across that once your ass hits the ground, you need to bounce your hips away to prevent your opponent from controlling your lower body. The tips that he shares in this video have single-handedly helped me hold my own against high level grapplers in rolling and sparring.
At the end of the video I mention that if you’re looking to invest in a home gym setup, Century Martial Arts is the way to go. At the point of filming this video, the only piece of Century equipment I owned was BOB, himself.
