What is a Karen?
A Karen is a person, male or female, who is perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal. This channel captures Karens caught in the act of "Karening" on police body camera footage, which is not subject to copyright.
Police body camera videos are not subject to copyright protection because they fail to satisfy both elements of the originality test set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court in "Feist Publications Inc. v. Rural Telephone Service Company", 499 U.S. 340 (1991).
The owner of this YouTube channel is based in the United States and is therefore governed by the US Copyright Act. No YouTube Channel owns a copyright to any police body camera video, no matter how much they have altered that video, as established by the ruling in "Matthew Bender & Co. Inc. v. West Pub. Co. Inc.", 158 F.3d 674 (2d Cir. 1998).
Thus, any claim of copyright infringement will be deemed to be made in BAD FAITH and an abuse of the "Request Video Removal" tool.
