Turns out, there won't be any Robot Chicken content at Comic-Con this year. Adult Swim just confirmed the entire list of panels and that wasn't one of them. This doesn't mean that it's cancelled yet, but if it is renewed, Adult Swim doesn't care enough about the show to reveal the news at such a large event. That's not exactly a good thing either!

I feel like if they get an idea of just how many people still care about the show, they might make it a priority again.
I also recommend that you watch it on Max regularly, too. Even if you've seen all the episodes frequently you can put it on in the background while you're performing household tasks, fall asleep to it, show it to friends, etc. I feel like if we get the streaming numbers up, that could only increase the chances of a renewal. It certainly couldn't hurt, at least.

I've been watching Monty Python's Flying Circus on Netflix lately. I can really tell how much it influenced Robot Chicken, something that Seth Green has outright confirmed in interviews.
They have the same brand of dark, random, boundary-pushing, and downright bizarre humor with occasional bits of social satire amid the absurdity. They also utilize the same format where a sketch can literally be only a few seconds long and then they move on to the next thing. Robot Chicken sketches like Giraffe Cop, Skater McGee, and The First Person To Ever Get Tired feel like they came straight out of a Monty Python episode.
In a way, RC is just a fully-animated 21st century version of Flying Circus with a major emphasis on nerd culture and childhood cartoon characters.
