The business name Trow Directories might be familiar to some fans of New York history. I'm working on a new video that goes down quite the rabbit hole and uncovers names that probably haven't been thought about since the people passed away. Imagine if they knew that people were going to learn about them in a video in the 21st century.
Episode 2 of my new series, "Solving Old New York Photo Mysteries," is now available!
In this episode, we'll look at a 19th-century photograph that shows the Brooklyn Bridge, a tall tower, and a bunch of buildings. It looks to be shot from a high floor or rooftop. The goal is to find the building where the picture was captured.
However, we can also explore the tales behind several buildings that are visible in the distance...
