This is how to actually leanmaxx.

Most people wrongfully think being lean just means being skinny, which is incorrect.

Lean and skinny are worlds apart.

Being lean means manipulating your body composition so the ratio of muscle to fat leans heavily towards muscle.

You can be skinny but hold a much higher ratio of fat - this is why some really skinny guys don't have 6 packs and still look pudgy.

So how do you actually get lean?

1. Restrict calories so that you burn more than you gain, but only by a very MINIMAL amount (-200 calories). Restricting too many calories will destroy your metabolism and eat away at muscle.

2. Eat healthy foods packed full of protein. You're not going to get lean eating your regular fat and carb heavy diet. You need a balanced diet - most people don't get nearly enough protein.

3. You need to train. This will help keep the muscles you already have on your body and burn fat, giving you that ideal body composition.

4. Time & Consistency. Next time you're outside, just take a look at the general population. Seeing a LEAN guy is VERY RARE. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

It takes a lot of mental fortitude and most importantly time and consistency.

Being lean is what gives you that sharp jawline, striations in your muscles, 6 pack abs, and overall a healthier body.

Don't get skinny, get lean.

Hey! It's been awhile.

I wanted to update you guys on some behind the scenes stuff, for those that are interested.

During the last few months, we've done so much work it's crazy.

- We've completely redesigned and revamped the main website: onpointfresh.com/

If you didn't know, OnPointFresh actually started out as a written blog initially and became a YouTube channel later on.

I still really love writing and wanted to get a complete rehaul on the website to make it faster and better looking.

I want to start writing a lot more because I can get my thoughts down faster without having to get a video edited around it that can take weeks on end.

- The RateByFresh App

This has been my biggest focus.

Coding, designing, & promoting.

Most other "looksmaxxing" apps on the market are poorly done fly by operations but this is a long term project that I see being an important part of the brand.

I truly believe we already have the best app in the niche, but I'm still working on it day in and day out to make it the absolute best and adding features no one else has.

More than anything right now I want your feedback regarding our app.

You can download it at ratebyfresh.com/

It is for iOS / iPhone user's only right now.

But it will become a web app + Android app very soon.

- The YouTube Channel

It might seem like I'm making less videos, but I actually have a ton of videos already made that I haven't posted.

There's a few reasons for this.

In the beginning stages of the channel, I would create videos very fast and the scripts were basically just my flow of consciousness.

Now, I'm a lot more hesitant to just post any video on the channel. It's more of a mental block, and I kind of want to make a second channel where I can post whatever I want. But we'll see.

- The Instagram

Our IG has absolutely been killing it. We've grown a ton in a very short amount of time and you guys love the aesthetic content we post on there.

Check it out: www.instagram.com/onpointfreshco/

- Evolution

Honestly, the niche in general needs to evolve.

Less theory and more action.

There's YouTubers that have been posting the same recycled content for 10+ years just for the ad and sponsorship money. That's so boring to me. I never want to be like that.

My goal has always been to:

Give information > Make you take action > Never see you again.

I think we have a ton of information, now we're working on making you take action. That's the point of the app and some of the other projects I'm working on.

Thanks for reading,

I've been posting a lot more on our instagram.

It's shorter, more digestible content, but it's still valuable.

Make sure you're following.

Want THICK, HEALTHY and SHINY hair?

I got you.

My hair is naturally fine and really dry, so I've tried pretty much everything under the sun to get it thick and flowy,

Here's what's worked for me:

1) Get more sun. Vitamin D is crucial for growing healthy hair.

2) Shower filter. If you live in an area with 'hard water', it's probably damaging your hair and scalp. Buying a water softener was a game changer for me.

3) Scalp massages. More blood flow = more nutrients to the hair follicle.

4) Natural hair serums. Things like Caffeine & Rosemary can help with hair growth, while Saw Palmetto will reduce DHT that's killing your hair follicles.

The serum I use: visit.ws/g/b4ic

5) Eggs. They're nature's multivitamin and have pretty much every nutrient you need to grow strong, healthy hair.

YOU ARE NOT UGLY.

You just have a bloated face.

Here's how you fix it:

- Decreasing your overall body fat%: This is common sense.

- 3L/day💧

- Natural Diuretics (dandelion or green tea)

- HIIT workout (sweat it out)

- Increase Magnesium Intake (almonds, spinach)

- Facial Massage: a jade roller will improve lymphatic drainage and decrease puffiness.

This is hard to explain.

But the ideal image of the thing is never the best version of it.

If you made a soccer player in a lab, he wouldn’t look like Messi. But Messi is the best.

If you sculpted the “perfect” warrior, you’d make him too jacked.

The best movie stars always have a facial imperfections and distinctive gaits.

The best generals always had crippling vices that affected their judgment.

Our ideal image of something is always too perfect. Too balanced. Too pure. And legends can never be balanced.

Something is always off. Too small. Too big. Nagging imperfections. Crippling vices.

But what we fail to grasp is that it’s the imperfections that create the monster.

There is no Messi without the height deficit.

The perfect version is never the best.

What are your SUMMER ESSENTIALS?

I just picked up:

- D&G Light Blue: My favorite summer scent of all time. Super fresh.

- Summer Fridays Mineral Sunscreen: The best sunscreen ever. Always go for mineral sunscreens.

- Tanning Drops: Put a few drops in your moisturizer and it gives you a nice glow all summer long.
