Imam Reza (as) narrated: āWhen Hassan and Hussein (pbuh) were born, Jibraeel (as) descended to congratulate the Prophet (pbuhaf) and ordered him to pierce their ears. They wore earrings, with the 'Qurt' in their right ear and 'Shanf' in their left."

Wearing Hijab (Headscarf) Is Not Obligatory!

In a previous episode of The School of Divine Mysteries, Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq (FHIP) reveals the origins of the head veil in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Contrary to popular belief, the scriptures contain no explicit divine commandment for women to cover their hair, rather cultural interpretations and historical figures shaped this tradition.
In the Seventh Covenant of Imam Mahdi, the wearing of a head veil or hijab by women is not obligatory but rather it is only a sunnah. We do not encourage wearing it, nor do we forbid it. Each person is free to wear it or not, for it was never a divine obligation from God Almighty, but rather it was a sunnah just as brushing teeth with a Miswak or sleeping while upon Wuduā.

Imam (as) said, āO Wahab! Do you think this refers to the Day of Judgment when Allah resurrects the people?! It does not! Allah gave Iblis respite until the day of the rising of the Qaim (as), who will hold his (Iblisā) forehead and behead him. This is the meaning of āthe day whose time is appointed.ā

BREAKING NEWS: 11 Members of the religion detained in Azerbaijan
After 24 hours of enforced disappearance, Rustam Gasimli and Neriman Shabanzade resurfaced at the Sabail District Court this evening, where they were sentenced to a minimum of 30 days in prison for "hooliganism" and "disobedience to a police officer". The two were initially detained for distributing flyers in Baku.
Zibeyda Sadigova, a prominent human rights lawyer affiliated with the European Human Rights Advocacy Center, has taken on their defense. Sadıgova reports that both individuals suffered beatings and severe abuse while in detention. She plans to appeal the court's decision, which she views as a blatant attempt to intimidate members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.
The Qaim Aba al-Sadiq Abdullah Hashem recently gave a public statement concerning the persecution taking place against the Azeri believers:
āI just received news that Rustam Gasimli and Neriman Shabanzade, two new believers from Azerbaijan, were arrested, brutally beaten by police officers and sentenced to 30 days in jail for peacefully passing out flyers about our religion. The lawyer who is representing them has informed us of this ongoing situation. We condemn the violent and oppressive crime committed against members of our faith by the state of Azerbaijan and the curse of Allah and his Messenger are upon the oppressors. We call upon the believers in Azerbaijan and around the world to protest against this violence and demand their immediate release and we urge all humanitarian organizations to expose this violent and inhumane crime. Clearly there is no freedom of religion in Azerbaijan. We stand firm with Rustam Gasimli and Neriman Shabanzade and salute them for their bravery, courage and sacrifice. You are paving the way for our people to have the freedom of religion, expression and thought. Your efforts will not go unnoticed, nor will they be in vain and those who oppressed the family of Mohammed shall know what overturn they shall turn. We will fight for their freedom and rights through all legal and peaceful means. Peace be upon you both our brothers in faith.ā
